An economic strategy that just might work, Part 3

Please let’s keep this thought in mind: Let’s remember innovations create inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs. And all in turn create employment and empowerment for American workers! Please let’s remember it. And return to it, an embrace it, like we did before ― when it led us to greatness as the number one nation in the world!

If there is one thing that our nation has proven time and time again, it is the fact that in times of crisis, we come together better than any other nation in the world. And through the use of teamwork, supporting each other, love ― and prayer, we have overcome all obstacles. So we know we can, because we have done it many times before!

Let’s remember our strengths, which are numerous and down-right awesome:

1. Our nation, which is 235 years old, is a young nation in comparison to the major countries of the world. Many of them were born before Jesus Christ ― our Lord! Yet, in spite of the short time of our nation existence, as well as the fact that our nation started with a small group of poverty-stricken, religious outcasts, it has developed and grown to become the richest, greatest, and most powerful nation in the world: The United States of America is analogous to the boy, who graduated valedictorian of his high school at the ripe old age of eight, earned his Ph.D. at the age of 12, became a multi-millionaire with two more doctorate degrees by the age of 15, and became the riches, most respected, most envied man in the world before his 18th birthday. And, moreover, he did it while having fun with his friends, and protecting them and himself from bullies. This is the collective genius of our nation!

2. The people of our nation understand teamwork better than people in any other nation. Time and time again they have proven it. And the crises they overcame during our nation’s brief history, along with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are testaments to this fact.

3. The people of the United States are the most creative group of people in the world. They dominate the world in all aspects of culture, and they are the most influential. They set the trends that all others follow.

4. Our nation can bring the richest and most diverse perspectives to meeting challenges and problem solving. We are the most intelligent and intellectually diverse nation in the world. Additionally, more Nobel Prize Winners work for the United States than for any other country.

5. The share size of the intellectual resources in the United States (the number of universities, colleges, technical schools, academies, conservatories, public schools, private schools, job training centers is second to none. Can you imagine how formidable this nation could be if we made the concerted effort to get all these intellectual resources working towards the same important and strategic goal? Imagine these intellectual resources, along with industry, government, labor, and the citizens of the United States, embracing and working towards the same goal: This goal ― Create and promote a climate that is conducive to the growth in innovations, which in turn will create inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs. And all in turn will create employment and empowerment for American workers!

I can add more to our list of strengths, but by now I think you get the picture: We have the ability, and we have the know-how. All we need is the resolve.

We should remind ourselves of the words in the Nike slogan ― Just do it!
